Remaining in production until 1944, the Hurricane Mk IIC carried an armament of four 20 mm cannon which proved particularly useful in the ground-attack role. Although outclassed in Europe, the Hurricane continued to give sterling service in Burma with a number of RAF and Indian Air Force squadrons flying the type right up to the cessation of hostilities in 1945....
