The plaster is still drying, but we are moved in. still very much a work in progress, but all basic functionality is active, with all previous posts available (and more!).

With the understanding we are still learning how to use this software, go ahead and take a look around, kick the tires, and leave your feedback here. Let me know anything you think might be worth tweaking.

It is already heaps better under the hood than the previous software we had. Feedback from the guinea pigs at WW2Talk is all positive.

Thanks again to the mighty Patrons on both site.

    Here is to the future.

Congrats on the move Otto, looking good.

Hope you're considering a Recent Posts tab.

Is the feed for Profile messages staying on the front page / accessible even if not logged on?

Does this software have the ability to allow us users to create our own color-schemes? Might be interesting to see what some Rogues come up with.

I logged in today to find a new colour scheme with white writing on pale blue background which I find impossible to read clearly.

Is this a setting I can change, if so how?

I notice on the sister site there is the option for 'Recent Posts' which I dont see on this site, I find it a very useful 'option'

    edited to add:
I note you can get to it by selecting 'New Posts' then selecting "view all recent posts" but its a little clumsy if I may say

I hate it too Sheldrake. This is the default template, which I am working on changing.

Merging this with XenForo Feedback thread.

Maybe it's just my issue (which is entirely possible) the "home" tag redirects to the old www.ww2f.com. Not a big deal just FYI.

My guess would be the best you could do is just wait 24hrs, KJ.
It sounds like the DNS (location info) hasn't quite updated for you yet. There are ways to force it but they're a bit of a fiddle and such issues should shake out automatically with time.

(Just flushing browser cache sometimes sorts it too, if you can be arsed.)

    as Adam sez, clear cache.
My bookmark to here took me to the redirectpage.
I could only get to the new ww2f via a link Otto gave us at ww2talk, which had a different url.
I've just deleted my browsing history & now I'm here properly via my bookmark .

I've been informed the password reset function get squirrely during the captcha phase. I'll resolve this asap.

Working on a new theme currently. This one has to go.

Is there a way to ignore certain sub forums?

Not really without a plugin, but you can build a kind of personalised set of forums with the 'watched forums' button above:

    Capture.JPG

You add forums to your little list from the top right of each one.

    Capture.JPG

Then just open 'Watched forums' as your day to day view and all the stump shit forums you want to avoid can be more easily skirted.
