Seven new additions have been added to the WW2F/FPS, bringing us to nineteen entries total.

I sent a Christmas card too. Got it yet? Actually I sent it twice. The first time I forgot to put the bunker number on it. Your mailman must be a stickler for detail. I hate Postal Nazi's, geez.

I did send you a Private Message on this A-58, and following up here in case you missed that.

I mentioned previously that Chicago's postal service is garbage. Delivery to my home is never sure, and I often get mail addressed to other people or businesses. The address I provide is a P.O. Box, so odds are better, but nothing is certain with mail in Cook County.

My wife informed me that we did get the Christmas card. It seems it arrived rather late as you were forced to send it twice by our postal overlords. It was on the mantle as it was a two panel Christmas card, but I can add it to the mix of you like.

That'll be fine. Add it to the mix!

Sometimes I get a bit carried away with the Christmas spirit when I'm doing the Christmas cards.

The links are indeed broken. I'll repair them when I have a chance.

The image links to the postcards broke during the move to this new XenForo forum software. I've now repaired all the broken image links and added another contribution from TD-Tommy776.

Nice to see the postcards again.
Have also been able to edit in the musket firing demo photo from Bunker Hill.

    Yes, nice to see these.

I'll have to find a chance to send some to Otto if I can. I live in Chicago and even work at the same company as he, so nothing new will be brought to the table unless I travel. Unfortunately, gun ranges, strip joints, and bars tend not to sell postcards.

Bumping this thread to solicit any postcards from any Rogues brave enough to send one in. If you visit any sites of historical interest (WWII or otherwise), please consider sending in a postcard field report. You can of course send something in at any time from any location, all submissions are welcome!

Refer to the first post in this thread for details on the postcard submissions.

Thread bumped to give notice of the change of address. As I've relocated, so does the WW2F command bunker. The Chicago address will remain available for a period to catch any stragglers, but the Texas address in the preferred destination going forward.

Since I've received some inquiries about sending mail to me (and not WW2F/FPS mail), I'll mention that this address isn't strictly for postcards. You can always send me personal mail at this address. Thanks to the generous members who did send me letters, books, etc. You know who you are, and it is appreciated.

I've updated the first post and the included example postcard with the new Texas based address. Very nice to see it being used already, I'll be posting Slipdigit's submission next. :slipdigit:

I just happened across my entire collection of WW2F/FPS submissions, there are 36 of them so far. As some of you know, I'm in the middle of a move from Illinois to Texas, so it was nice to see the entire set of postcards altogether while unpacking. I'll be looking for a nice box in which to store these, one which will look good on a bookcase.

Feel free to add to list of submissions, or just sent a regular letter to the WW2F P.O. Box address. I'm always happy to hear from the Rogues of the WWII Forums.

    Go home in the morning.
    We've been here 2 weeks.
    Flew into JFK.
Drove down to Philly & then onto near DC.
I sent a card from each place so over the next few days they should be getting to Otto.
