My mother is a full blooded German.....dad had a quarter German in his blood...so I'm roughly 60% German when it is all said and done. Rest is British and Scandinavian.

I spent three years based out of Sicily, Provincia Catania, Motta san Anastasia. My apartment was on the slopes of that bitty hill, Mt. Etna.

Unless you come from an isolated island somwhere, I'm not sure anyone can be pure anything. I'm a combination of southern Austria and Northern Italy, which were both subject to continuous migrations and invasions.

If anyone asks I like to say I'm half man, half amazing.

All four of my grandparents were born in Italy. Two in Sicily, one from Abruzzia and one from Calabria. I guess going back further I could find immigration from elsewhere, but I guess I'm as pure-bred as they come.

Interesting thread......On my dad's side it's mostly English and German, then Dutch, and then a tiny bit Cherokee Indian. My Mom's side is English, Scottish, Norwegian, Danish, and a small amount of Italian.

Italian on my father's side, and on my mother's side, English, German and Puerto Rican, and from Puerto Rico back to Catalunya.

Edit: just realized I'd already answered it. It's been that kind of day.
