Never seen anything like this before. The Kyushu J7W1 Shinden. I imagine that it would be real tough to bail out of this one.
If the Shitden was anything like the Pfeil, the back blades were blown off prior to bailing/ejection..
Somewhere in Holland I suppose. Maybe the part of Belgium nearest to Holland. Regardless of where it's at, the civilians are glad to see the British are in town, and in turn, the Germans gone. Except for the girl in front of the tanks left track. She doesn't appear to be a the best of moods that day.
Had to be loud in this one too. For awhile anyway. Those German tankers have that "uh-oh" look on their faces, seeing that this Soviet tank (looks like a T-34/85) can take a lickin and keep on tickin so to speak.
It's hard to believe they sat out in the open and watched A-Bombs go off like that. Hopefully the shock wave won't knock them off the bleachers when it hits.
. Sorry, but I feel an irresistible urge to counter that ghastly colorisation with the original and pleasing monochrome image. Now I hope we can all agree how much better that is without the need for digital crayons.
