I've found an orthopedic insole near Vitebsk (Belarus), which is made from iron. Does in belong to Wehrmacht or not?

Given the condition of the item and the likely very small pool of people with knowledge in this area, this seems to be a bit of a tough ask. I've edited the thread title from simply "Orthopedic insole" to better indicate this is a query about WWII footwear.

My best suggestion is to subscribe to the thread, and you'll be alerted if anyone responds. This might take a considerable amount of time, so patience is key here.
