Good day, my fellow citizens. To introduce my self, I am a High school student who has a great interest in sociology. Recently, I started writing analyzing Dr. Cripple's articles; like Der Angriff. I would like to compare him with South Korea's journalist who had revealed a great political conspiracy of that nation; Son Sukhee. Through this, I would like to find the ideal role that journalist should perform in 21 century. I would like to write a paper but, have some problem in proceeding that project. And I would like to cover that matter in my next threads. I believe joining this thread would certainly be helpful for me to analyze how Dr. Cripple fell one country to all kinds of poverty, agony, tyranny, disease, and madness. Greetings.
Is Dr. Cripple a typo/auto correct? I don't know who he is. Edited to add, there's a lot I don't know. Lol
Some links to relevant articles might help as well. A good friend of mine has been a practicing journalist and now teaches the history of journalism at one of the local universities. The role of journalism is an issue of considerable import IMO. Will be interesting to see where this goes. Might be better in one of the other subforums though.
Ah ... Haven't seen that particular autocorrect problem but run into enough of them.. The spell checker I use tends to highlight questionable usage and allow me to decide if I want to correct and it will offer alternatives if I do. Not always the alternative I want and some words it just doesn't like. Wonderful inventions when they work and disorienting and sometimes humorous when they don't.
The practice of reporting as a "journal" has disappeared in my opinion...nothing but reporters these days...
Welcome Lawrence! Mobile phone autocorrect is notoriously and hilariously incorrect. "Dr. Cripples" is a very funny error.
