    Hi everyone
I am the son of an ex-pat Latvian who settled in the UK after WW2.
My interest is specific to his war - conscripted into the Latvian Legion (15th Waffen Grenadier division of the SS) age 17/18 he ended up in Hamburg in a DP camp thence to the UK.
I am looking for resources to find out where he fought and eventually surrendered.
Sadly my father died in 1981 and (understandingly) never talked about his war experiences other than my boyhood curiosity about his scars and frostbite damage!

Any pointers to resources would be gratefully received.
