    Hello everyone,

I am excited to have found this forum!
I personally have not served, but my Grandfather served in WW2 and my father and Uncles served in Vietnam .
I'm looking forward to discovery some new history.

In the meantime, I wrote and directed a short film that takes place during WW2. I am sure many of the experts here will find some factual flaws in the film, but I am hoping we can look passed that and explore the story in the film.
The film has played at the Normandie World War II International Film Festival in France (as well as many other notable festivals) and it has played at various film events hosted for our Veterans.

    Please enjoy!

Welcome to the forums Filmaker, I am impressed with your filmography! There is no shortage of info to find here! I think it was a good story, sad ending, but powerful.

Greetings from Arizona. Pretty good film, Karl. My Dad would be the one to nitpick you to death, but from one artist to another, I think it was good.

A great little story...these situations would have occurred regularly and those left alive to live with it. Little problem with "airborne" not using available cover at the start...and little reason to go into rather than around the farmstead...But I thought the directing was very good, the camera work top notch. It didn't try to do too much...and the lack of a famous actor making it more realistic also. Great work in getting some character development in such a small time...I think a series of these "this shit happens" - could make an interesting series indeed. Well done, I liked it. : )

Thank you and thanks for watching. The lack of any famous actors had more to do with our very tiny budget haha. Thanks agin.

first of all, welcome to forum.

    Really good movie, strong feelings.

    Really good.

I wish we had several filmmakers like you.

In the case of military stuff, we have no one.
