Are you talking about Allied flyers who were lynched in Germany?

Yes,in May 1944,Goebels said that all Terror fliegers must be murdered. Most murders took place in the Bayern area.
In the Dachau War Trials a lot were sentenced to death by hanging.

Was this order just in May, or a continual practice?

In the beginning of the war the most captured were delivered to the German Luftwaffe. With the bombing carpets of the RAF at night and the USAAF by daylight, the lynching started in early 1944. It was ending just when the war was over. Ofcourse there were also good Germans who hiding and helped the Allied airmen.

I assume it wasn't just May, but hey with ol' Joseph you never know. So was this just for those attacking cities? I know things like this happened, I just thought it was more random and unorganized, but that's not very German like.

Notice that it came from Goebbels but I'm sure that every German understood that he wouldn't have said it unless Hitler approved. The Nazis were always afraid that the population would turn against them as with Italy turning against fascism. This tactic was designed to divert public's rage onto the Allied fliers so they wouldn't start associating the Party with the destruction of their cities. I've read several accounts of incipient lynchings being stopped by German servicemen on leave. They realized that the Allied servicemen were just following orders-just like them.

Harolds thats correct, lot of airmen were rescued by Luftwaffe soldiers out of hands of civilians. Most Luftwaffe officers were no Nazi's.
It was an gentleman degree to take care of their POW's.
