Remains of u-boat bunker port seen from air

Lost at sea and stranded in the Lofjord in Norway sometime in the last years of the war. The dockport was lost during transport from a mechanic verft in Åsenfjorden.The dockport was heading for Trondheim, and the german uboat bunker "Dora". Today the remains can be seen in the remote shore of the Lofjord.

Thank you! The u-boat bunkers in Trondheim was not completed in 1941, the "dora 1" was completed in 1943, and "dora 2" was only half-completed by the end of the war. But the germans probably had u-boats stationed in Trondheim before that, so the Uboat you are talking about, may have been launched from Trondheim. I am not sure if the aboundead dock port was ment for "dora 1" or "dora 2".

Is there any doubt that German Uboats like the Uboat 1006 were launched from such Mobile Floating Pens and Floating Docks at Lofjord and the Trondheim "Dora Pens"; I think my father's story that has Commander Ian Fleming having war records completely altered is no surprise since the Royal Canadian Navy had many secrets to hide as did the Royal Imperial British Navy and Winston Churchill himself! Completely altering records while is a very complicated feat would not be unheard of. By 42-44 this was happening at Halifax Harbor in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada so either records of the war were altered or we have a large part of Canadian World War 2 history that have leaks bigger than Britain and Canada combinded.

To the level you are describing yes it was.

How are you changing records in Germany that don't exist until 1944 in Halifax in 1942? Then there's the question of why bother because the allies won't be distributing them until after the war. Or the records of when ships were built and paid for? Even the Japanese with their tendency to be over the top on things like that didn't go so far. Occam's razor is pretty clear in this case.
