It was a fantastic game, the only two games I've seen the entirety of so far was Spain and Russia, and England and Columbia.........I got lucky with both :D

Watched the England-Colombia match. The match itself was fun to watch, but I thought the referee lost control at the midpoint.
I think Brazil should win the Cup.

England actually won a penalty shootout.

Mark this day on your calendar.

I think Uruguay should win the World Cup.

Colombia were a disgrace with the way they reacted and hounded the ref. Lucky not to have been playing a few men down by the end of it - the penalty was clearly a penalty but the Colombians spent 5 minutes protesting it and hounding the ref! Falcao as the captain was disgraceful, lost a lot of respect for him during that match. Also lucky not to have had a player sent off for a blatant headbutt (while an England player got a yellow for a slight head tap). Their fitness coach should also be banned for attacking Sterling in the tunnel - highly unprofessional for a member of the coaching staff. Falcao also complaining that the ref favored the Brits (Colombia was playing hack-a-Kane, so not sure what he is complaining about there) and that he only spoke English (the international language of sports, of flying aircraft, and naval shipping) so...

Well, France did deserve to win this. Youngsters with skills beyond their years, patience in the buildup, and great management by Deschamps. Tres bien.

I agree, but part of me wanted to see the overlooked and largely unknown Croatia win too...….

Croatia dominated the first 20 minutes but couldn't finish. France's set piece goal was an own goal. The last two French goals were things of beauty.

They should have done it when France had the ball.

I am not sure I would say they 'dominated'. The first half of the game was very back and forth, but France had a lot more skill players an no one can deal with Mbappe's speed down the flank.

The better team won, as much as I would like to have seen Croatia win. I had predicated a 3 - 1 France victory so wasn't off by much!
