    Sorry I left out the Super Bowl for the Eagles KJ.........the best Superbowl sine SB 50 when my Broncos won their 3rd.......that was a great day.......

    Thanks for the shout-out JJ. I have lived in and around Philadelphia my whole life. My parents' families did, too. Most of my extended family is here as well. My mother (soon to be 94!), sister and brother and their families live in California. My father is buried there. I have little to add to your history, and the corrections made. I'm proud of my city, and secondarily to my state. Phillies, Flyers, Sixers, Eagles, and Union above all!

    It is important information!! If you want to make friends in Philadelphia, just shout...."How bout them Eagles!".....I think that's pretty good info to have :cool:

    That's great. I was on the list years ago, when my name came around I just couldn't do it financially. In fact, I just purchased my tickets to the home opener this weekend while I was down there with the family. Suffice to say I will be sitting in the nosebleeds this year and the price is now the same as lower level 40 yard line. That's what happens I guess.

    What aircraft were manufactured their......Naval ones obviously, but Grumman, Douglas, Curtis?

    So Mostly Amphibious aircraft like the Catalina, and Kingfisher........cool, I was wondering where else they made Kingfisher's.
