Looking forward to that Pats-Chiefs matchup. Maybe an early AFC championship. Have a feeling the Pats will be exposed.

If the Chiefs beat the Patriots, than they're for real, if not...........it's the same old Chiefs.

Am watching the Raiders v Seahawks game live from Wembley on the BBC.
I am utterly confused by it all.
Play seems to stop every 5 seconds.

Yep...four 15 minute quarters and one 20 minute halftime...takes 3 hours to play.

Gotta get all those commercial breaks in.

I can't say I ever understood football. I'm getting a crash course now that I live n Texas however. I used to prefer Futbol, but the incessant diving in the game now drives me to rage.

If I had to pick an NFL team it would be the Green Bay Packers. Their logo is obviously inspired by Guderian's 2 Panzerarmee. ;)

I'm afraid my Broncos are probably going to get destroyed by the Rams today......I'm excited to go see the Broncos and Cardinals Thursday Night game though!

love the nfl, but time and money rule my world.

kc looks like they have a winner at qb... I'd jump on the kc train. canadians are allowed to switch nfl allegiances due to a little known pact we struck while negotiating nafta

Heading to the Eagles game tomorrow, leaving at 5:30 AM. 1:00 game with the Panthers. Looks like a nice day for football unlike that rainstorm we sat in at the Colts game. Gota stop on the Turnpike for coffee and donuts, should be able to get a nice spot in the lot to tailgate. Parking lots open at 7:30. Sometimes I enjoy it as much as the game. Fighting your way through 98,000 people has lost it’s appeal for me. Some folks just stay in the lot, tailgate, drink and listen to the game or stream it, I suppose. Eagles are picked to win.........remains to be seen.

We got tickets on about the 50 yard line one level up, because the Cards and Broncos aren't doing well, the prices were down to only 190$ each. Parking was 20$......but the Broncos won 45-10, so it was wholly worth it. Plus there were more Broncos fans than Cardinals fans in Arizona!!
Tailgating is always fun, I just enjoy walking around and talking to other Broncos fans, some are nice enough to share a drink or food. I'm not sure who will win that one either, helps the Eagles have home field advantage!

Good tight ending for the neutral fan.

Arizona are the new Browns. The fact that they made the Broncos look good says it all right now.

Speaking of the Donkeys, they should just forfeit their game against the Chiefs (in KC) this coming weekend. The Bengals got absolutely destroyed last night.

Still looks like the Rams are the better overall team. The Chiefs defense will prevent them from winning the SuperBowl - as good as their offense is.

I am sorry you had to witness that one Half Track. Suffice to say I bet it was an angry walk back to the parking lot for myriad Birds fans. To be honest, and I have witnessed some terrible debacles over the last 30 years, but that one was gut wrenching. Never thought in a million years they would blow a 17 pt lead in the 4th. Did not even prepare for it. Yuck!

The offense and defense deserve a share of the blame but the D at the end was mind boggling. You have a banged up secondary and a tired D line. Yet you never blitz, never put pressure on Cam Newton and you watch him bleed the D dry. Jim Schwartz never changes his scheme, regardless of the dire need to at that moment. Making the secondary cover for too long only ends up in disaster. I am still seething over here. Heads need to start to roll or it's gonna be 8-8.

Yeah, like said before, “all glory is fleeting .” And Doug thinks the “pressure is off”? lol. (According to his post game interview) Secondary sucks. All they needed with that fourth and ten for the Panthers with under two minutes left, deep in Panther territory, was another stop by making the pass from Cam incomplete and it should have been a different outcome. Not to be. They let down and the offense should have run more running plays in the fourth quarter to run the clock down. And I believe they only threw one really long pass the entire game. I will still be a fan, there are other teams in the same boat or worse, but if they lose to the Jags in England this Sunday, it is a lost season I believe. The tail gating was a blast and I am ready for some basketball and NHL Hockey. Go Boston Bruins! I am always a fan there too, good or bad.

Yeah, I agree...its London or bust. Win or lose I am the same, bleed green regardless. However, what a letdown this season has become. Hopefully in a few weeks we will feel better and they will play up to their capabilities, cross your fingers.

KJ, Half track......All hope is not yet lost for the Eagles! I do agree that if they lose to the Jags in London it's over, but the Jags have been playing bad themselves, and the rest of the NFC East is pretty weak overall.

You're right...the NFC East is a piss poor division. I feel the only way the Birds creep into the postseason (BIG IF) is they have to win the division.
