Not so new. See your post #67. Same culprit. I was going to suggest they thought you were a Playboy bunny, but decided it would be poor form. ;)

BTW, by "same culprit" I meant Panera not the cashier.

It's actually fairly good pizza for what I'd consider a fast food joint. It is thin crust oven fired pizza made to order.

I have nasty habit of being willfully obtuse without convey that I'm doing so, and it's far too difficult to convey tone via text. This goes a long way to explaining my smilie obsession.

An iced coffee ordered from a local Starbucks. When they asked my name I stated "von Poop". This is what they handed me.

Actually, it was a bit loud at the time I was ordering, so not entirely surprising I got something other than "Otto", but I've only had "Adam" a few times.

I'm sitting in a coffee shop (not Starbucks) right now and got some looks when this made me laugh out loud.

    A couple real doozies here.

Unexpectedly, these were with the same cashier just a few minutes apart, but I must say English was certainly his second (or third) language. This was a first for me with both names. I did enjoy a friendly lady walking up to the pickup table yelling "Iron!" repeatedly into the room.

I don't mind what they call me at Hat Creek, their burgers are fantastic.

Is that the place where the servers berate the guests? I've seen them, but they look far to kitch for an eating establishment.

Iron, hmmm. That might be the best mix-up of my name ever.

I might start saying g my name is "Iron" and see if they end up with "Otto".
