Thank you, Otto, and all the Moderators for all you do and for how long you have been doing it. As others said, it was interesting to get a look inside the WW2F machine, so to speak. So glad you are still here for me to return to even though it has been sporadic for the last few years.

With regard to spammers. Did the porn spammer who was spamming via pm's hit most/all of us or just a few?

Shortly after I reported him he was dishonorably discharged. Seems like a lot of work for very little chance of any game. Now if you could tell someone was say a sports fan nad sent them the sports video links that we've seen so much of lately it might make a bit more sense.

I am sure that a lot of that sort of stuff is automated scripts, and not an individual going through that whole process.

I think something like half of internet traffic is spam. So things would run a lot smoother if such things were impossible!

I delete the spam I can, but some I can't. Those I just hate until they smoke and crumble. This I piss on their graves.

I've done several over the last few days. Pissing on their graves sounds like a good idea.

A Bedford Armadillo Mk1 in the foreground. (Think 3 different Bedfords behind, but haven't checked.)
    Fearsome stuff.

Perfectly adequate for lightly armed spammers.

The problem I have with the above is that those pictures need to be posted where people that would be interested in them are more likely to find them.

Otto and moderators, I had only a vague clue as to the time involved in maintaining the forums, especially while constantly being spammed and also trying to just maintain a fair and decent life for one's family. I have not been as active of late myself as my workload has also increased. Never expected the phone to still be ringing at 79 so I really cannot imagine how you guys make time to run the forums, To say you are appreciated is an understatement for the ages. I am trying to find time to spent here!!!!!

I'm only 68, so I have plenty of energy for posting. :bucktooth:

I'm 72, but retired. Plenty of time and energy to use against the spammers. It's almost like a game.
