I am trying to find the title of a TV movie involving a tank chasing a broken down airplane across the desert. Any help with the title I would be grateful. Thanks Stacey

I think that you are looking for "Death Race." It was released in 1973, and Lloyd Bridges, Roy Thinnes and Doug McClure starred in it. In the future when you have a movie question, go to imdb.com and dig around there. You'll find what you are looking for, and plenty more at the same time.

Was it better than his acting in "Sole Survivor"?

It's another one of those 70s made for TV movies. I think it's available for viewing on youtube.

I just looked on YouTube, and "Sole Survivor" had William Shatner.

Sole Survivor was loosely based on the 'Lady Be Good' B-24 lost deep in North Africa due to a navigation error.

If memory serves it was a ghost story where many years later the only survivor who bailed out early is haunted by his former crew mates for abandoning them.

    No it was Sole Survivor.

Sole Survivor (TV Movie 1970) - IMDb

Not a great movie by any description, but sort of off-beat cult classic material for WW2 type movies I guess.

It's viewable on youtube if anyone just has to see it. Poor quality, but good enough.
