    Interesting thread, I watched Grizzly Man many years ago and I found it fascinating and disturbing at the same time. I guess Treadwell was probably a disturbed person, considering what he did. However that doesn't mean he was a bad guy, perhaps that kind of judgement is not for us to make. I have seen many videos of people interacting with bears and big cats and claiming that they can understand those animals and communicate with them. In general I think they are deceiving themselves. I mean, humans can be unpredictable and dangerous, so how can you believe you can handle a wild animal that was evolutionary made (or created, if you are a Creationist) to be an apex predator? Perhaps the craziest thing I saw was the movie Roar from 1981. It was conceived by a couple of big cats fanatics who played the main role and it is considered the most dangerous movie ever made. At least seventy people, included the couple, were injured during the production. I love animals and I like big cats in particular, but there seems to be a tendency among tree-huggers to live in a fantasy world.
