    Eighteen.

Think Jackson Browne in all his 1970s glory.

    I looked sorta like him.

You know why they had Marines on ships???..because the Navy slept two to a bunk..old Air Force joke...visited Ramey AFB back in '68..lots of fun back then.

    The Army walks to work.
    The Marines wade to work.
The Air Force the officers have all the fun.
The Navy goes to war with clean sheets and ice cream machines, and the officers' asses are on the same line as the enlisted.

BTW, my brother did 26 years in the USAF. I think this was because he couldn't find his way out.

Gee's I'm getting old. I noticed the 79' LTD in the background about the same time as the Lass in the White dress.

Had a 66 Chevy Corvair when I was 18. I'd had a few motorcycles but it was my first car. It handled so well and I was so dumb that wore out the rear tires in 2 months sliding ever corner at the speed limit. cratecrop3.jpg

Learned to drive on the parents '63 Corvair...big problem was the fan belt kept slipping off..so old Dad had to come out and fix it..after about the fourth time..he had enough...and bought a '67 Opel Kadett Coupe for us, while he drove the Impala. That little Opel got me thru high school until I bought that Malibu...have pics of it somewhere.
