Recommendations for website/people who sell authentic WW2 militaria

With the amount of fakes in the market can anyone recommend to me genuine militaria online dealers who are based in the UK ?

 

are you looking to buy? if so, I would suggest doing research and also going on forums ....some forums have more experts than others

The only reason I say UK online stores is because I'm not sure where the law stands on shipping weapons to the UK if you have US stores that ship yo the UK that you can recommend I would be extremely grateful

 

Due to restrictions, non UK militaria dealers will not ship deactivated weapons overseas. If you did manage to get a deac imported in to the UK, without it being siezed by the authorities, you would still be required to have it deactivated again to UK specificationsto make it legal.

If your new to militaria collecting then I would suggest attending one of the many militaria fairs that occur (pre Covid-19) all over the UK. This would not only allow you to see an item before you buy, but also give you an idea of how much that item is currently worth.

Most dealers at militaria fairs are helpful and willing to offer advice.
