Created a local chapter...Nope, not even close to being the highest ranking KKK member. Keep trying Pops.
Thanks CAC, took us nearly 40 years to make the dream come true, but it's been worth it. And a cushion isn't a bad idea ! Oh by the way; poppy if you're reading - it was sarcasm! If you need a definition Google #PresidentLysol Since you seem to want to derail what was intended to be a lighthearted thread and ignoring someone on here doesn't actually block them from your threads, I'll meet ya here tomorrow (it's late) and we can discuss your Batshit crazy rhetoric further.
pardon me...trying times. weve been friends for years. no hard feelings man. we have differing opinions- cool. lets see what the future holds. ill apologize if all ive said proves false. id expect the same. have you seen the new quarter? https://nypost.com/2020/01/08/why-youll-be-seeing-bizarre-bats-on-new-quarters/
I have a decent Meade refractor telescope for stargazing at night but my goal is one of these backyard astronomy observatories with a nice Celestron telescope for my retirement days. "and ignoring someone on here doesn't actually block them from your threads," not sure i follow. not too smart (we can all agree) sounds like junior high all over again.
THAT would be nice! I could definitely use something like that up here in the Tundra. I haven't had the telescope out for a while due to weather and life in general getting in the way. My favorite look through the scope was the first time I saw the Orion nebula! Considering how far away it is and the magnitude of its size you really get a feeling of complete insignificance.
On another note: saw a bear at the top of the driveway yesterday. 45 yards is a bit too close. The .270 is loaded and at the ready. Mowed yesterday morning and I can definitively state Bears do shit in the yard.
The Orion Nebula is pretty amazing..here are some incredible photos taken...makes our little life here on Earth rather small in the bigger picture of the universe. The Splendor of the Orion Nebula (Photos) | Space
Back in the olden days, I used to canoe up in the BWCA. I can confirm that bears also shit on portage trails.
Yeah I've noticed they do pretty much whatever they want wherever they want ! The bear seems to have moved on, now we have a young Doe hanging around and pestering the dog. She stops at the end of the driveway and waits until the dog gets within a few yards of her then hightails it into the brush. Dog then comes back to the deck and lays down after protecting her domain. A few minutes later the doe is back and it's off to the races again ! Can't wait to watch when she brings out her fawn (s?). We go through this every June.
Champion´s league soccer games have started. If I got it right it is 12 teams playing the whole series in some 17 days. The final must look like a slow motion film....
