    Who hasn't become unkempt.
thinking of doing a "klingon" (no jokes please). ..have noticed the 'stache ' collects debris- sneezing/eating etc.
just shave the upper lip, with handle bar down to goatee.
fuller than the cheesy Klingon, but not a full on wolverine.
like the guys who still drive horse and buggy.
like the movie with harrison ford, when he nails the farmer chick.
    that was hot.

Yep I worked for the Amish, Lancaster County. It was hot, but only in a movie. With an Amish girl? Not cool. They still live all around me in Franklin County. Naw, you don’t want to look like the Amish, keep the stash anyway, perhaps one like the Fuhrer. Oh yeah, almost forgot, there was Ada, a few years younger than me back in 1959. She was cute, Amish, would have liked to, and her father would have shot me with that old single shot shotgun that hung in the barn.

Yeah we have "Movember" in Australia...Men grow a moustaka during November to raise money and awareness of men's health

I grew a beauty this year, but shaved it off on the 1st of December...didn't like the sh#t catching abilities it had...my GF didn't like it either...
What is currently possessing you to have a moustache (and beard) Tim?

The movie was "Witness". More insight on the Amish that I had seen previously. (At least until Al Yankovick's "Amish Paradise.")

Now the proud bearer of a goatee meself; going for the Newport Jazz Festival look. Or Peter, Paul and Mary mayhap.
I remember a tv show called Sledgehammer that was a piss-take of Dirty Harry; they did a send up called Witless that was actually better than the movie.

I grew a quite healthy one a few years ago. Had that Edwardian admiral look about it. I kept it from August to the next April. I'm not a beard person and the damned thing worried the crap out me. It was also more work to maintain than just shaving, as I did not like it getting all in my mouth and I still had to daily shave my neck and almost to my eyelids. The short whiskers irritated me by rubbing against my collar.

Here it is in all its glory. I am enjoying a Mardi Gras ball with Bobby (A-58).

I don' t bother trying. Got poor genes. Just face the wind to shave the 'beard' away...
