Remember the pic I posted where one of the natives had a grease gun! At least the M1 would still bring a bloke done just as well as it did 70 years ago…just like an Enfield would still end you today…but parts? Ammo?

Supposedly this is the USS New Jersey as she made her way from the Aleutian Islands to the Philippines for invasion. December 1944.

I don't believe the banner, looking at pictures of the Shermans that were at Alamein they were M4A1 with a 3-piece bolted nose plate, not the 1-piece casting here. Plus the tracks are wrong, although those could easily be a replacement, it has been 80 years, after all...

Factory-fresh RAF Mosquito B.XVIs fighter-bombers built by Percival Aviation, c.1943-44. One of the Mosquito’s most famous raids occurred on 30-January-1943 when the RAF bombed Radio Berlin and disrupted a speech by Göring commemorating the 10th anniversary of Hitler’s rule, damaging his credibility

Nice one but an accidiental one, I guess. Suitable for Silverfuchs. Did Dietl accidentiailly win any operations? From Narvik to Russia 1944?

I've never seen this one before. Just the one as the bullet fired from Jack Ruby's handgun perforates Lee Harvey Oswald's torso.
