Need info on sleeve Patch

    Hi guys! I need help figuring out what patch is on the right side of my grandfather's uniform. I only have a picture and its not the best. But i’ll post it and see if you all can help. I have searched everything I know about him and cant find anything.

    The one on his left arm is either of these………and I believe you said he was “aircrew” so it would probably be the first one “Aviation Radioman 3rd Class”

    I can’t quite tell, but could the one on his right arm be a US Navy Aerial Gunner badge……here’s a link to what they looked like, not sure if it matches

    or it “may” be another “aviation radioman” as show on the insignia diagram below in the next post. Not sure if I can confirm it from this angle in the photo

    BUT to me, it has something below the “wings” which looks more like the aerial gunner badge???
