Uniform WW2

    Hi there
    I am trying to tra e more information on my Great Uncle George Edward Cross(e) he was born in Liverpool I believe on the 4th April 1915. I don't know what military group he served under,the only thing I know is he may have served in Eygpt and have this photo. Any help would be very much appreciated.

    Looks like Army rather than RAF, but can't make out of the cap badge.
