During the course of my job this morning, i cam across a woman whos name is Yingtong.
Probably doesn't mean much to Americans, but there was once a comedy group called "The Goons" and early runner to troupes like Monty Python - The Goons had people like Harry Secombe (Welsh Legend) and Peter Sellers (think the pink panther or Dr Strangelove - Anyway i grew up singing one of their many songs - The Ying Tong song....So ive been singing it ever since i saw this woman's name. If you've not heard it, do yourself a favour...I bet ten bucks it will make you smile.

I have 'various and sundry' med supplies. I could stock any third world hospital for a year. (I used to "forget" supplies when I went on medical visits with our corpsman.)

Storm blew down some trees yesterday. The county was on the job pretty quickly to clear the streets, but I had to get my fouled anchor hat out and take charge.

"Okay, calm down! There's a chief here now, so look busy."

I've spent a half hour looking for a picture (not too sure how long that is in Metric) but if I don't find one tonight I'll take a picture tomorrow. I do know her Dad saw it on Google Earth when I told him he could see the damn thing from space !

Speaking of smiles and giggles, just started watching the Cheyenne Social Club with Jimmy Steward & Henry Fonda tonight. Last nights viewing was Advance to the Rear with Glen Ford & Stella Stevens.

There's a boulder on the left of the second picture that someone better be eating their Wheaties if they picked it up.

By the way, This is a boulder. There's 20 'so-so' rocks around it covered in vines. But they're only a few feet wide.

    Love the flag.
Biggest rock in the world? Uluru...one single piece of rock.

Do you ever see those internet posts about "12 (or some number) war movies that are really accurate"? Saw one today, and most of their assessments were fairly reasonable, including the one for the movie Munich about the 1972 Olympic terrorist incident and its aftermath - but the accompanying photo was of Neville Chamberlain getting off his plane on returning from the 1938 Munich conference!
