    Hi all

I'm looking for more info on the Japanese Hakabusan Maru transporting the 3rd Bn, 4th Imperial Guards Regt with supporting units, leaving Phu Quoc island on the 6th December 1941, arriving in Bangkok on the 8th, as the advance party of the Imperial Guards Division.

    My sources are
Thailand Invasion Group, Malaya Invasion Group, Southern Force, 08.12.1941
    and
HyperWar: Japanese Monograph No. 45--History of Imperial GHQ--Army Section, page 61.

I know the Hakabusan Maru was in service in August 1931, thanks to
The Vancouver Sun from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
