Hey guys, I need some help identifying markings on British web gear. The first is a web belt with the following markings:1st line is - ?.LTD 1952 broad arrow stamp, the 2nd line is C.N./A.A/0227. The 2nd item is a holster: ZL&T.Ltd 1943. The stamp appears to be a crown inside a backwords C. It appears to be a perfect fit for a Browning Hi-Power. The final item is a case about the size of a binocular case with the following markings on the yop: CASE SIGHT MK II MOR MKI. On the inside of the lid it is marked M.E.C. 1941. Any help would be appreciated. The items are also for sale. If interested please send me a email. Steve

    Steve,
I am no expert on this but I am ex army. Being ex army I know how much the army loves to abbreviate and write things backwards. So on that logic, your last one could be a Mark 2 Case for a Mark 1 Mortar Sight.
But that is only a guess.

Thanks Jack. Is the crown inside a reverse C a Canadian item?
