Since I'm new to this forum and am sensitive to forums guidelines....is there a separate forum for militaria for sale or trade?

I sure don't see any. Give it a shot. Most they can do is delete it.

In that case, here goes.......I have an a couple items my Dad brought back that I'm willing to free up to the universe. Nothing too rare I don't think: an NSDAP flag and a book on Hitler with pasted in photos.

The flag has some light soil in places and book binding is NOT in good condition.

The flag approximately 30X50 and I would say is in very good condition. I can get exact dimensions and send more pictures of both if anyone is interested.

My Dad served as a Captain with the 7th Armored and these are a couple things he brought back. I still have his .45 and other things. They have been in a dresser or closet since 1948 when he returned home.
My interests are in collecting military firearms (from Civil War to WW2) focusing on US arms. Since I don't have the room to display everything I own I thought I would free them up to a collector who could appropriately take care of them.
I'm not out to get rich but I don't want to be taken advantage of either as a dealer would only offer bottom dollar. I could ship anywhere in the US.

Off topic story about the flag I'll never forget. When I was very young in the late 50s we lived in a small town in NE. I was just home from school and I was heading outside with the flag. My Dad stopped me and demanded what I was doing. I told him I was going to hang it from our front porch.........it was FLAG DAY.
Should have heard his words, never did that again either. LOL

I still have one of these that I bought back in 1973/74. I used to have one that was about 15 feet long but I let that one go. But I still have the smaller banner. It doesn't fit my collection, per se, but I'll hold onto it. I also have one of those books, plus one of the volumes, including the paper jacket, of the 1936 Berlin Olympics. Once again... just will hold onto them. Then I have a 1941 Berlin Telephone Book... need to look anybody up? Number please!
