Again its happend, and it didnt stop. Hammas is terrorism, think of it as your point of view. Say someone blew up a bus outside of a Bills game, killed 20, wounding more, and it is found out to be Al Quada, and Bush comes out and says, "we will not retaliate, maybe they wont do it again" How would you feel?

Well it is obvious that Hammas doesn't give a rats a** ......about world opinion. They want Israel out of the country at any cost. Why the Jews have been so patient for so many years is beyond me. Sure they think of world opinion but do they act on it ? We have to conclude they really don't and both peoples will do just about anything to survive...

First I have to say that I HATE terrorism as well as I HATE the Israeli butchers in uniform.
Palestinians have not learned from History that terrorism brings reprisals and that it brings more terrorism and more death to everybody... And the Israelis have not learned from History... they perfectly know what it to be segregated, discriminated and murdered. Jews were segregated and murdered for over 5.000 years, but the last 50 years they have not done any other thing than segregate and murder themselves! Guys: didn't Auschwitz, the Holy Inquisition and Massada teach you anything?!

Europe. Where they mixed and became EUROPEANS.

Israel belong to the muslim Palestinian as well to the very FEW Jews who had lived there for more than 2.000 years. But the vast majority of Israelis nowaday are Europeans, INVADERS.

Maybe that's true to some point, but they did become EUROPEANS by their own choice.

Change as many leaders as you want. The stupid eye-per-eye ideology of both peoples is the real problem. It has always been.

I think the only reason why the Isrealis are so patient is because the people in Washington tell them to be--and because they would also lose their 3 billion dollar "gift" if they didn't.

the hamasses will never behave--I hate thinking this way but, they have constantly disrupted any chance for peace in that region. [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

Fried I hate to say this but I think U've hit it on the pointed head.......eye for and eye.
It will not change no matter who will be in power for either side. Tempers may settle down but bullets will still whiz by in the air.....

A lasting peace ? not yet

A lasting peace? Do you know when that will happen? When there would be no Palestinians nor Israelis alive... :( That's what they're looking for, very unfortunately. :(

I know what you guys are hinting at, but here is my point. If any type of group wishes to prove a point, they musty have SOME moral convictions(yes, even terrorists have consciences, hard as it is to believe). Therefore, if their actions have no moral backing, then there is no one to support them, breaking up their fragile web of justifications for such ongoing slaughter and bringing about a strained peace(at least, if they have any common sense.)

buff, it sounds so good on paper and I firmly believe that terrorist organizations like Hammas want the full scale destruction of the Jews at any price and if they could they would clobber us as well since we per se side with Israel

Again, it's all about ideology. Remember that the Jews didn't hesitate in using terrorist against the British in 1946-1948... And I bet that if the Arabs had the power and the moeny and the Jews were the poor ones, then the Arab tanks would go to the 'villages' to kill some Jewish civilians... What can you do against two peoples who do not learn from history, who hate each other and love killing the other?!

poor ones......interesting Fried. Thought all Arab like countries were behind the Phillistines(Palestinians) since they claim they are arab too....
love killing each other ? another interesting statement though I find this incorrect through personal interviews of both peoples. Hostile is more the word.
And who do you think the property of Israel(Palestine)belonged to during British occupation ? The british ? c'mon.

Get off your butt and go over there and talk to those folks for some first hand info.... ;)

    I'm done here

Hostile... if that's the word... I know they do not love killing each other literally, but then why do they keep doing it?!

No, it was not the land of the British of course, it was the legitimate land of the Asian Palestines and Asian Jews.

It is the British fault to move millions of foreigners (let's call them firewood) into the bonefire...

But that's already done. It doesn't matter whose the land of now, because both peoples live there. The only thing to discuss now is how and when will they stop fighting and peacefully co-exist?
