Oh--i'll get one eventually but--that panel would be cool as a new drivers side door for your pickup truck. :D

Erich, the work is going great. The list contains 320 names and over 141 knight's cross holders. [IMG]

It's so difficult--I have a computer pulling me one way and a COMPLETE Gebirgejager Gefreiters COMBAT uniform that's up for sale--pulling me the other way.

That´s a bit difficult Carl, must admit. So you have to get them both...I guess!

I agree, go for the computer Carl. A computer will enable you to do so many things. You will be able to organize your research, get online, better control over internet auctions etc. The militaria will still be there and you will have other chances.

    Best regards/ Daniel

Thanks for the advice guys but--I dunno--let me see what daddy has to say?

I REALLY do need that Gebirgsjager uniform. It's a COMBAT UNIFORM and combat uniforms are getting hard to come-by.

I need that computer as well--maybe some sort of a comprimise can be made? meaning--no more new movies for awhile (after I get Where Eagles Dare) and no more militaria (untill I know if i'm getting that uniform or not)

    Ahhh decisions...decisions....

Not sure if they have anything like this in Texas....but here in Calgary we can pay for computers by the month...for example this laptop I want I'd pay 31 dollars a month...which is about the same as what I pay for my cell phone....just a thought.

    Very simple, Carl.

Do you wear a Mountain Troops tunic everyday? No.

Do you use a computer almost everyday? You do. A computer in which you can't download archives, in which you can't save your files and organise all the data you have.

    ;)

Erich is right, were far out of topic.

BUT to finish the topic here, we all unanimously agree in two things:

    1) Happy birthday, Erich. May God gives you many more years.

    2) Carl, get a bloody computer!

    :D :D :D

    Enough!
