Johnny Cash He died today, at the age of 71. Country music singer, known as "The Man in Black". ------ R.I.P. Johnny!
Sad news indeed. I couldn't believe it when I heard it. As I said at another forum, he was a big American icon and a great artist. Best regards/ Daniel
Sad indeed... He was one of my favorite artists. Infact at work everyone who knows me calls me Johnny Cash because I'm always either humming or singing his songs...and I almost always wear black. My favorite song...there's way too many, but some of the best ones (in my opinion) are: Ring Of Fire Beast In Me Hurt (the Remake of a Nine Inch Nails song) Cry, Cry, Cry I Walk The Line Ballad of Ira Hayes Don't Take Your Guns To Town Highway Man ...and you can't forget A Boy Named Sue Just to name a few of them Also, John Ritter died last night as well. He's most known for his roll in "Three's Company" but has recently been seen in the new tv series "8 Rules for dating my daughter". May They Both Rest in Peace. DUCE
Sad news indeed. Rest In Peace Johnny "Ghost Riders In The Sky" and "Back In The Saddle Again" Cash. Your talented singing will be sorely missed. Yippi eie eie oh, rockin to and fro, back in the saddle again.
Check out Johnny Cash's video on Rolling Stone.com. It'll make you want to cry R.I.P. Later BTW, title of song is "Hurt", NIN
