Greetings! I'm new to this forum, and I like what I see... pretty cool stuff!

As an avid student of U.S. Military history, the martial arts, and politics of all kinds, I've started my own website, with an online forum to match:

    http://www.journalofhistory.com

Obviously I don't want to take away from this site, as I've found it to be an excellent source of WWII knowledge. However, if you're interested in other wars, American and foreign, as well as politics and a myriad of other topics, you may be interested in signing up.

    If you're interested:

    http://www.journalofhistory.com/phpBB2/

Simply click on "register" and away you go.

    Enjoy! :D

Welcome to the Forums nc_martialartist, it's always good to meet a new member. You have a very interesting website, history and martial arts together. Correct me if I'm wrong, but from your site I see you are mainly into kata based martial arts, are you at all familiar with mixed martial arts (MMA)?

MMA sounds very familiar, but I'm not really sure what it consists of. Any info you could give me would be great...

Basically MMA is the UFC (in the US) or Pride Fighting Championship (in Japan). It's not abif deal, I was just curious.

Did I say I like your site? [IMG] Probably what's best is the fact that you have so much info in so many areas that aren't links yet. Even though the info isn't there, you know it's evetually going to be, cool idea.
