Though I haven't posted much in the past year or so, I've always been glade to be a member of this forum. I've had some good conversations and learned many things. Next month on the 23rd I leave for the U.S. Army. I just wanted to say goodbye to the members of the forum and that I look forward to be able to be able to read and post topics again after the next six months.
Hey, Panzergrenadiere ! You take good care of yourself....have many great experiences and keep your head down. You're a valued member of this forum and remember we'll all be here - don't forget about us.
Ah, my "replacement" has arrived. I just retired from the US Navy after 27 years. May you do well and find a home in the Army. But, I am sure we will be seeing more of you here in the considerable spare time you will have (you may not think so now but it will happen).
Best of luck, PG. We can count on you to uphold the best traditions of the US Army. Our eyes are set on you
Thanks guys. I've been occupying my last days with push ups, sit ups, and running. Soon I'll be at ft. leonard wood.
Good luck and God bless. I hope that your education here will help you to remember the mistakes of others and keep you from repeating them. You will be in our thoughts and prayers. Don't loose the forum address. TA is right, after your initial training there will be a lot of free time. If you can keep away from the pursuit of hangovers, there will be much you can do with it.
Mentioned it in another thread, but Martin kindly pointed me this way- I know it's bumping an old thread, but I wanted it to be in the "official" version- what everyone else said. Best of luck, keep yourself and your buddies safe, and thanks for your service.
Hey Guys, guess whose back. I made it through boot camp and all the other fun stuff. Now I'm an MP in the U.S. Army.
Hi Panzer! Good to have you back! Hope all is well and you enjoy the Army. Let us know how you are getting on...
