Yeah,he seems to have a bit of a problem with his time with arsenel alright,he is definatley going to get a suspention,
Arsenel should be glad to see the back of him because he never really did it for arsenel anyway.
Next season you should start a fantasy league.

Speaking to BBC Radio 5 Live's Sportsweek programme, FA chief executive Watmore confirmed Adebayor's actions would come under scrutiny in the coming days.

He said: "I was pretty unimpressed really because the problems between the Arsenal fans and Adebayor are well documented, and he ran the whole length of the field to celebrate, so I think we're going to have a good close look at that one on Monday when we see it properly in the cold light of day.

"I thought the stewards did a great job of calming the situation down and it was to Manchester City's credit nothing worse happened.

"Our governance team will take a good look at both of the incidents that have been highlighted and will come to the media with the answers early next week."

Well Musso ... I can't do anything else but agree with you (strange I know :D) ... When I watched the match, the angle they showed the foot stomp from (behind Abe) seemed he just didn't try to avoid contact. Then when it was shown from a different angle, it was clear Abe could have quite easily avoided RVP's face, and actually made that extra stretch to contact him. Definite Red !!

The goal celebration was embarrassing. He made a half assed apology afterward, yet whilst he was running the 90 yards to reach the Arsenal fans it never occurred to him it may be a bad idea ??? Lets just hope the FA bring him down to earth with a fine or ban, there's no room for that kind of behavior.

Honestly, I think Rooneys dive against Slovakia and against Arsenal were worse. I think if they're going to persecute one player over it they should persecute all of them.

Looks like Abe has got it comin ... The decision has been made to allow the match referee to review the "face stamp" incident via video replay, if he deems it would have been a red card offense had he seen it on the day then a suspension for Abe will follow. Ironically, Abe will miss City's next match because the hearing isn't until next week !! :D

Which amounts to a 3 match ban (2 matches for the red card). Any word on his celebration antics? He should be charged as an 'accessory to the crime' (like the getaway driver in a robbery that ends with a murder) since his actions caused a steward to get injured/knocked out.

That was an atrocious dive, when i saw it live i thought it was genuine, punishing him wont help celtic though.
They have to start somewhere, stamp it out, defenders cant do their job.
Hes away with it anyway so it doesnt matter what happens now.

Personally I think all the players do dives if they consider it might lead into a penalty call. Actually I am more surprised that some managers say that they do not tell their players to try the dive inside penalty area.....

    ------------

Kolo Toure has blasted his old Arsenal team-mates for their treatment of Emmanuel Adebayor before and during Manchester City's win on Saturday.

But Toure insists that Adebayor's treatment at the hands of his former colleagues even before the match was 'unacceptable'.

"I am astounded because he has received blows from all the Arsenal players," Toure told the Sun.

"Even though he was the first to go and salute them in the tunnel, even those who had an affinity with him didn't want to shake his hand.

    "For me that is unacceptable."

Toure did, however, admit that Adebayor's confrontation with the fans was regrettable.

"There was a very difficult moment with the supporters," he said.

"At the start of the game they were whistling at him as if he never brought anything to the club. It was hard.

"I don't caution him for his gesture although I tried to stop him and I also have apologised to the fans. It's not to them that he should do this.

"I told him that this was not a good thing and he apologised. The problem is that they booed him while they applauded me.

"It was a reaction of pride. The whole world could have a reaction like that."

Toure also defended Adebayor's move to City, insisting that it was not financially motivated.

"Certain people want others to believe he left for the money but we know he was pushed to leave. I know it because I was present," he said.

"I firmly believe he left to bring money to the club."

Yep ... You're right Musso. If found guilty of a red card offense it will indeed add up to a 3 match ban.

As for the goal celebration antics, that WILL be getting dealt with as a separate incident. A steward was indeed KO'd, and if it wasn't for the intervention of the stewards in restraining the somewhat "Irate" Gooner supporters then who knows what would have happened ?? That type of thing can quickly escalate.

Looks like Ade's childish antics will see his "Dummy" being confiscated for the foreseeable!!

Seems like its 100% certain that Abe will face a 3-match ban for the stop and additional time for the celebration. Good stuff.

Just reading Arsenes reaction to Hughes saying people need to cut Abe some slack (some slack from what? He went over the top twice in the match...) and Arsene made this great comment (in regards to how people view the stomp):

"You ask 100 people, 99 will say it's very bad and the hundredth will be Mark Hughes."

    LOL!

Looks like Arsenal have some injury problems ahead of tonights Champions League clash: Sporting Life - Football | Champions League, Besiktas v Manchester United

(Ignore that it says Man Utd...the link takes you to the right place).

Look who we have to have in goal - Vito Mannone or Wojciech Szczesny.

I know Mannone is a rising Italian goalkeeper and will most likely get the start, but I do kinda hope that the that the other guy (Szczesny) gets the start just because he has one crazy sounding name!

managers have a part in all that goes on,and need to come down hard on those that abuse and cheat, earn the the right to be called professionals, players should begin to behave like men! not rattle out of pram time, too much cheating, diving and that came in with the foreign players too...

Good comeback for Arsenal. Down 2 - 0 inside 5 minutes, won the game 3-2. Should be an interesting Champions League for them, as they're the only team in their group who didn't win their respective leagues domestic title last year.
