He converted 16 years ago, and he survived throughout the Taliban years. That means he's either really tough and really discrete. I hope he makes it out of there alive...
My statement "those people are nuts" wasn't referring to Muslims in general. Mostly to those in that part of the world. They are very backward. Islam actually has a history of tolerance and respect for Christianity. The clerics in that part of the world probably know very little about the history of their religion. I see the Italians may offer asylum. It's a shame.
