2. Racists
3. Conspiricy theorists believing in you name it.

Hi TA, I most definately do remember that VERY STUPID Fed Judge and his stupidity. I also remember kenneth wayne mcduff as well. That turd of turds finally was executed, I just don't remember when. Also, I was a Correctional Officer for the state prison system for four years. When I was hired, you HAD to have a College Degree--or the equivilent in college hours; in order to get that job. One thing that everyone NEEDS to know is, is that probably 1/2 or more of the people who are watching those inmates; are not qualified for the job.

About a year before I changed careers, the state of texas penal system lowered their standards on who they would hire to become a Correctional Officer. For instance--ever hear of Jethro bodine from The Beverly Hillbillies? Well, Jethro had a 6th grade education. And without saying so, you probably guessed correctly that that is all the education one needs, in order to become a; Correctional Officer for the state of Texas. This lowering of standards is due to the fact that for I don't know how many years, the loss for state employess quitting the job, was about 25% higher that the new hires. For instance, the state on average, lost 500 trained and qualified Correctional Officers per month--replacing them with 400 (and in many cases, less than) new trainees.

At any rate, you also have people who are way over-age also being hired for that job. If you live anywhere near a prison, you can bet that everyone of them are staffed with the samekind of people that staff our prisons. Also, which is most of the time, the worst Correctional Officers usually are the youngest and the oldest working there. Mostly, that is because the younger ones never had a "real' job before and prior to becoming a C.O, they were working as a soda-jerk at some five and dime store.

Sorry for my rant and I merely wanted to say that TA is totally correct.

 

Did you work there when they served the inmates Vitapro morning, noon, and night ? That would really cause a turnover !

For those of you who do not know Vitapro was a textured protein product make out of soybeans. And like all bean products it gives you gas. Picture yourself in a building with 500 inmates all passing gas. Cruel and unusual punshment big time.

Someone in Austin lobbied the State on buying this stuff in order to "save" money.

 

Yep, I was there when they were (and still are) allowed to have that stuff. They used it as a body-building protein substance since they were not allowed to purchase other bb aides.

As for the flatulence, thankfully, one could not smell it as there are air vents in every dorm--and you could not smell it anyway over the inmate body odor. During the hotter months was the worst.

 

Just got back from a weeks' holiday ( I never read Newspapers on holiday ) and am having to adjust my brain back to 'normal' life...

Al Sharpton and THE ReverEND Jesse Jackson, are both hypocrites, braggarts and blowhards. BOTH of them have said many things during their time that are ""racist" remarks. Such as: Hymietown, Whitey, Crackers, White Ni@@ers and others. Sharpton spent many years covering up an affair he had as well as an illegitimate child with said partner in that affair. SO much for being pure in mind and spirit. BOTH of them need to shut their @#$%^& mouths.

I agree that Don Imus should not have made that remark about those athletes but, I don't think it was as bad as if he'd flat out, called them baboons--or something along those lines. It makes me sick to see al Sharpton

I know many blacks and are good friends with several. I sure wish their voices could be heard as NOT-A-ONE-OF-THEM, care for, like, or ever agree with the sharpton-jackson bozos. Just because these folks I know have the same skin tone, does not mean that sharpton and jackson; speak for them.

Heck, I have been called many-a-thing in my time, and NOT-A-ONE-OF-THOSE-WORDS-EVER-BOTHERED-ME. I learned long ago to let the curses just roll off my back and onto the ground.

 

We were talking at work to day of how it is ignored by the FCC on how radio stations can play rap music and say the most filthy things you can think of and no one will touch them for playing it.

 

And J.J and A.S both CLAIM that they are going to do something about that--B.S> is all I will say as they MIGHT make a rilppe but will definately not have their "hearts and minds" set on doing anyhting about that.
