As a footnote, go to www.politicalcartoons.com and type 'Pope' in the search engine and have a great laugh at the cartoons. ;)

The Pope sussposedly makes a statement linking Islam to violence, and some Muslims protest by killing a nun and firebombing churches. The irony is literally mind-numbing.

Fried, I'm in a mind to burn you at stake for heresy. It' unbelieavable that you :

    a) restrain a by definition unlimited God to two sides of a coin only,
    b) give to God a coin that is Caesar's :D

What have you been up to? Singing the soul out of Mexico? We're missing you here [IMG]

So the pope quotes a medieval chat critizing the islamic faith for being violent and blood thirsty, so what do the muslims do to prove there argument that he is wrong, kill a nun and burn churches. i have friends who are muslim who are appalled at what is going on in there name and it is they who pointed out to me that the christian west is more tolerant to their neighbours than the muslim east. for instance in some muslim countries you risk your life to enter a church of any other faith than islam.

Muslims have double standards it's alright for them to throw the book at you but when you do the same to them they go around rioting and killing, Islam the religion of peace don't make me laugh. The first opportunity they get and they will run you through with their sword in the name of Islam and peace, hypocrites.

I believe the problem is that the middle east is still living in stonage and know nothing then the koran, anybody in any religion that only follows the holly book where its the Torah, Koran or the Bible has absolutaley no comon sense and is bound for disaster. This has been already proven this is why civilzed countries have church and state

My Boss likes to remind us all of his great idea every time the Middle East is in the news. Nuke the whole of the Middle East off the face of the planet result world peace and we all can get on with are lives I find that a bit of a extreme point of view.

That's because the US knows Chávez is a damn farse. He talks about Yank imperialism all the time, but all his petrodollars come from Texaco, Halliburton and other American companies. He's a 4th rate dictator. At least Fidel Castro, everyone recognises his coherence, he nationalised all American-owned companies in the island and fought so-called imperialism frontally and without restriction.
