Courier-Post: S.J. man finds English relative through letters, 12-01-03

William McDonnell's genealogical research led him to five deceased cousins - William, Charles, Leonard, Alfred and Walter Stewart - all of whom were brothers and all of whom were killed during the First World War. Brothers in Blood, a documentary about the Stewart brothers, will be broadcast in England on December 28th.

Thanks for this 'ol man. It's sad that there are only a few hundred ww1 vets still living but I am glad for every single one of them.

Thanks for that as well Crapgame. I cought a bit of that on the news ticker that is annoyingly displayed at the bottom of the screen, but had missed seeing his name. A few days earlier, a vet who was 108 passed away as well--I have no toher details on him either. :( :( [IMG]
