I live in the U.S. state of Massachusetts, and have all my life (old Yankee here).
Though not knowledgeable, I've always been interested in military history. Two of my uncles, now deceased, served, one in Europe and the other in the Pacific.
My main interest is collecting and occasionally shooting martial sidearms from the two world wars, although I also have a few military rifles.

Welcome to the forums. I wish I was up in your neck of the woods to see the fall foilage.
In Texas the leaves just fall off the trees without all the colors.

    Yes, just like Pennsylvania.

And the leaves are turning all sorts of bright colors, TA152 - yellow, red, orange, maroon.

Come on up and visit. :D

Virginia is a Commonwealth too if I am not mistaken. There is one more Commonwealth, I want to say it's Kentucky but I'm not sure. It's just a title anyway, doesn't really mean anything. I never refer to my state, PA, as a Commonwealth. Sounds too British to me. :D
