A good show. It was interesting about the reaction from the internment camps. In all honesty, I think that some of the inhabitants of the camps could have tried to aid Japan. What irritated me more, was the reaction of some of the so-called Americans back home. The troops had no real arguments with him, except for the problems in the pacific where the troops only saw japanese when they were shooting at them.

I saw the listing for this and forgot about it. I heard it was very good.

I agree it was good. My eleven-year old son was quite interested in it as well. I also agree that some of the detainees at the War Relocation Centers were supportive of Japan proper. Interesting that Ben Kuroki was shunned by detainees when he spoke of defeating Japan and came close to being killed by those he visited at the camp.

Kuroki’s fellow crewman Lt. Col. Edward “Red” Weir, the navigator, will be making an appearance as a guest speaker in Dallas in December. My son and I are looking forward to it.
