Looks like a bad drawing of New Zealand Bob Semple tank. And BTW, you should wait until previous question is answered, (ot at least when there is no new posts for a while)
@ Vatha, It might not be a great rendition of the Bob Semple, but it's not such a bad drawing. You figured it out. @ Artema, Don't worry about jumping ahead of the game a bit. It's no big deal. Now if you can guess my latest tank, it will be your turn to post another of your choice.
Slomo, your tank is MTLS - IGI4, aka Dutch four man tank. And since Artema seems to have more inspiration than me, I will leave next question to him.
Congratulations, your designation of the tank is right, it's the Marmon-Herrington MTLS-IG14. Here's a little more info. "During the period from 1935 to 1941, the firm Marmon-Herrington built a series of tanks for export, some of them being produced by the US Army and Marine Corps. These vehicles ranged from light turretless two-man tanks that were based on commercial components produced by the firm, to three- and four-man tanks of the more conventional design. A bit more about the MTLS-IG14 itself: "Originally ordered for the Dutch East Indies and known as the Dutch Four-Man Tank, this was the largest of the tanks built by Marmon-Herrington. Though the hull design was similar to that of the CTMS-ITB1, it was longer and deeper and was fitted with wider tracks. The two-man turret was equipped with twin 37mm guns, with a .30cal machine.gun mounted on the right side of the turret plate. In addition a AA machine-gun socket mount was provided at the rear of the turret and ball mounts on the hull front. Crew 4; 2 37mm guns; 2 to 4 MG; armour 1/2 - 1in; engine Hercules 6-cylinder 240hp, liquid cooled; 26mph; 16ft 1in x 8ft 8 1/2in x 9ft 2 1/4in." Good job Vathra. I guess then it is over to you Artema. Your go.
Would that be Wespe by any chance? E: Or Leichte Feldhaubitze 18 auf Fahrgestell Panzerkampfwagen II I think I got it right but I'm at school ATM so someone else can go ahead ^^
Yes, it is (badly beaten) Wespe. There is no muzzle break, shield for gun, and entire back of the vehicle. I will put another photo in the evening, so if anyone is quicker...
I see are at least two "odd ones" a Matilda and what looks like an Italian M series "medium". Most of the others have either German or Hungarian origin but I can't identify them all.
Yes, you are right! On this photo we can see: - Hungarian Turan I and Turan II tanks, Zrinyi SPG - German Pz III, Grille and Hummel SPGs - Italian M15/42 - British Matilda Mk II And last two are "odd" ones, actually Trophy weapons. Your turn, TOS!
The 2 numbered vehicles (153/154) might be 43M Zrinyi II SPG. Nevermind guess you must have been posting when I first checked and was looking the picture over. I should have refreshed the page before posting.
Can't post anything until late tonight +1 GMT so if anyone has a good one go ahead !Will be back home this week end and finally have access to my books again until then I can only pick pictures from the net anyway. BTW I had identified most of the others but how do you distinguish a Hummel from a Nashorn when all that's left is that
If you mean wreck on the left, in front of Matilda, I don't know what it is. But there is one Hummel behind Grille, gun is definitely 15cm.
