First I thought about Stridsvagn, but the chassis is Czech. Some Pz38 model. The gun looks funny though.
Not a LT38/Pzkpfw 38(t), that is what it is identified as by most people with a quick glance. The first time I saw it I thought it was a LT38 with a 20mm gun wrong though.
Maybe the Swiss (Panzerwagen 39 "Praga") Armed with a Swiss-made 24mm (Kanone 38) as deliveries of the standard Czech 37-mm gun were also cut off.
They were ordered by a country which then had a misfortune at the end of the 30's so they only received one prototype. The production ones went to a different country. Not the Swiss version of the LT38 either which was a licence built version after Germany stopped exports.
A little more information. It is by a Czechoslovakian Company but they were only used by Slovakia and not by the country that originally specified them.
LTL, export version of the LT-38. Armed with 20mm Oerlikon cannon. Ordered by Lithuania but used by Slovakia under the name LT-40.
Correcto mundo hyde. Was wondering if I should put more hints in. Most people do a quick ID as a LT38/Pzkpfw 38(t). CKD LTL, the only tank built with rear drive by CKD. Original country of use is a little questionable as I have seen claims that they were built for Latvia and Lithuania but Slovakia ended up with the 21 production vehicles.
Finnish BT-42 assault gun. BT-42 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia BTW, Slomo, you were almost right, as this vehicle was also built on BT-7 chassis. Regards,
Depends how you mean close with the hand grenade, close to the grenade or close to the blast area one is eeek and one phew
View attachment 14074 Japanese SRII Amphibious Tank In late 1934 Ishikawajima was ordered to remodel the SR-I to increase the abilities afloat. The project was named SR-II (amphibious, version 2). The floats were made lower and the upper superstructure was designed slightly sloped. The hull was rebuilt and made boat-like. A second type 91 6,5 mm mg and a gunner were placed on the left besides the driver. The suspension was totally reworked using a lot of construction elements of the type 95 light tank Ha-Go. The maximum armour was 10 mm, the total weight 7t. A smal zero-production was made and the vehicles were tested immediately. At least one vehicle was captured by russian troops in Manshuria 1945. Due to the poor armament the project was abandoned in 1935.
