I wouldn't call him a member. In fact a lot of people register without ever posting or will post one or two questions before they disappear for good. Actually I believe the active members should be about 200-220 now (about 10%)
Sorry Sturmkreuz, I'm afraid he still has 0 posts as of today. This happens all the time. Some people register and post for the first time months after their registration or sometimes never. Sometimes they are not actual posters but tracking robots who get discharged immediately
All message boards have their share of non participants. I imagine a few members joined simply to view the attachments. Frankly, 2,200 members isn't exactly a huge number. What is significant is the percentage of members who have actually made a post and the extremely high percentage of members here that do participate compared to other discussions boards. The quality vs quantity ratio here is really quite good. Peppy >>> enjoys the quality produced by "the few"
This is why I chose this forum Peppy. There are some quality posts and people have a good sense of humor too.
I wonder who said this? Never in the field of human life was so much owed (for quality posts), by so many (not too active members) to so few (very active and wise members)! Thank you all my great favourites!! Mats
Tovaritch The Red Rabbi, I want to know exactly what you think you are doing. What is this "sense of humour" talk? You know very very well that this kind of bourgeois subversive thing cannot be allowed exist. So I want on my desk tomorrow at 9:00 sharp your list of the first batch of 20 so-called 'forum members' (forum members my posterior, just a bunch of westernised pseudo-intellectuals who come here to babble!) that are to, you know, 'disappear', and then we'll think of some more later. You know who the 'useful idiots' are, so put one or two of those in the list as well to keep them inconspicuous and to provide notice to the others to play ball, but play ball low. Leave the whatifers alone as they generate enough hot air to sabotage all the rest so they are an asset. Not a very useful asset, but any asset is an asset, Lenin used to say that more or less. Do you remember him saying that, Tovaritch? Did he say 'asset' or just 'ass'? Quite frankly I'm not sure now, it should be somewhere in his XVI volume of his Complete Works... Why the hell you are saying he only wrote 15 volumes, are you trying to provoke me or what, eh? And I also want another report on my desk tomorrow on the causes of your neglect, in letting things come to this point. Yes, yes, yes, a bit of socialist self-criticism is just as good as confession to a christian, if such a thing exists which it doesn't, of course. Be proactive, damn you! Socialist Greetings, Za Rodinu.
