Well, looks like the soldier leaning against the wall is carrying a Mosin-Nagant though it's hard to tell so Eastern front for sure. Berlin maybe?

 

Yes, that is a Russian and it is Berlin but can you name the location? Another hint is that this is where some of the heaviest fighting occurred during the battle.

 

Not too sure what you're looking for as an answer and as I don't know Berlin all that well I'll just take a wild guess. I imagine we are staring at the Spree River, I am assuming that it the Moltke bridge in the background. The Germans had attempted to blow it and were not able to succeed and it was eventually secured by the Russians. Is that what you're looking for?

Heh, ok, maybe I looked too hard for a tough one. It is not in the Mediterranean area nor the North American, South American or European continents. Hopefully that'll narrow it down some.
