Gentlemen I am currently researching the actions of the German 250th Inf Division (The Spanish 'Blue' Division) and thier positions in the Krasni Bor area of operations, Feb 1943. I am specifically looking for topographical maps and possibley aerial photos of the area at the greatest detail I can find. I have tried searching the net on my own, but I will admit my search capabilites are lacking. any and all assistance is greatly appreciated Devin
I'm assuming that you've searched online for "Krasni Bor" in English... but you'd probably have a better chance if you can search it in Spanish -- i.e., by using a search engine specific to Spain. For example, when I was looking for topos on France, I found a search engine on the French-language web and used it -- and got fabulous results -- all in French, of course
I have tried digging through both Spanish and German search engines.... I was unable to find what I was looking for there as well...admitidley as I dont speak spanish and only highchool level german it was a bit hit and miss! Devin

I think that you would be able to find topos -- or links to them -- if you try searching for some hiking sites -- there are lots of hiking trails in Europe, and some of them go through several countries -- I need to go to work, now, but I'll give you a hand with the search when I get a break... Which Spanish-language search engines have you tried?
The problem is I need the topos for the time period...things change in 60 years. And more importantly I also need building locations and road networks, as well as the layout of the train tracks. The reason I need the detail is that I am a game designer for Critical Hit Inc and my next project is covering the adtions at Krasni Bor. We pride ourselfs on the level of detail in our maps (each hex=50yds Squad/gun/tank level). and I am struggeling to find good detailed maps of the area and the time. as far as search engines I have used-Goggle for both spanish and german and I have also used the Spanish engines Abacho.com and Terra.es
