IE I am required to use it at work and it's just too much trouble to bounce backand forth. To be honest, I don't really consider FF to the manna from heaven gift it is purported to be.
Firefox of course. Looks better, feels better, acts better. Tabs are an awesome feature. Microsoft owns IE, Microsoft does not own FF. 'Nuff said.
FF applications are quicker including less jamming/freeze offs, not as prone to circular misfit trojan/virus spam crapola pop-ups, hickey like substances affecting normal browsing traffic regulators ..........
Big style. Set up IE properly and it's fine, stability and popups are not a problem after a few clicks in the options. Though mostly I can't be arsed to learn a new browser when the one I use never gives me any trouble. It's like Macs; they do some things wonderfully well but the irritation at everything being just subtly different drives me mad whenever I use one. Never seen any advantage offered by Firefox that was enough to make me switch. Worst of all are some of the dedicated browsers that ISPs offer... really bugs me that for some people who know no better the kind of rubbish they can be served up is their only experience of the internet Cheers, Adam.
Request it at work. I am trying to remember why I switched back to firefox. I remember being very disturbed about something the IE wouldnt do. But really I am not going back until IE gets a built in spell checker, they do have tabs now. The plugins are great for firefox too.
Oh and to make up for the Clinton Job, I put this question forth. Would you like seeing an IE shirt like this? Didnt think so.
IE with XP. I haven't had any troubles so far and I don't like change. What Your Computer Does At Night
well i have both on my old .pc. but i must say firefox i like a bit better but i must say i do use .IE. at times krieg
Firefox. Absolutely. More stable and has an incredible library of free plug-ins. Real-time spell check, local weather, active bookmarks, auto-gmap etc, a spam website black-list, the ability to block all adverts etc, etc, etc, etc. In not an accident that every single Firefox feature ends up in appearing in IE. Fear of change is the only reason I can see why people use IE, but the fact is everyone using IE is actually using a Firefox version, just one from a year ago.
Well, I've been out of the computer selling game for quite awhile now, so to be honest..... I didn't even know what Fireifx was until this post!! But I like trying new things!! So I'm downloading it now!! Looks like fun, but I have to admit I DO have problems with my IE shutting down occasionally!! So thanks!! I'll try it!!
