And it would have been covered in bacon! :p

I'm not eating it yet, but I'm cooking it up now, I believe in France it's called Coq Au Vin, chicken and mushrooms! A very good dish! One of my favorites, chicken, ham, crimini and shiitake shrooms, onions, garlic, a few spices, some veggies and of course wine, I use a Sauvignon Blanc. It's going to be great!!:)

    I always thought that

"...things you buy in a plastic bowl from the supermarket"

    and

    "...good stuff"

    were mutually exclusive.

You all in France do know how to eat right. Today I took a little picnicing lesson from France. Had some Bread, Cheese and washed it down w/ a bottle of fine Cognac.

Just kidding, all I had was a Southwestern Burrito w/ a bottle of Sprite soda. ;-))

    Cheers.

And Erich, no wonder why you never have much money to spend on Militaria! it's because of all the red meat your grilling and consuming. ;-D I hope you don't eat the darned things rare!! My Bro-in-Law and one of my Nephews do. They like to see the blood running on their plates--yukk.

    Hi E, Scott,

E, I tried that Vita water before but all it tasted to me like was like something under-sweetened. I normally just drink Dasani Bottled Water.

I'm pretty close to you Scott, I like mine Medium-well & some Teryaki Sauce to dip it in. As Homer Simpson might say: "Mmmmmmmmmmmm, Teryaki Sauce, mmmmmmmmm."

PS, said same sauce is P~E~R~F~E~C~T with grilled bonless Chicken Breast and a Romaine Lettuce Salad w/ mini-Carrots, several Multi-Grain Crackers (Keeblers) and Ken's Ranch Dressing, Mmmmmmmmmmmmm. Now THAT's living boyo ;-)) Take it from me, I lost a significant amount of weight eating that and or something likewise, for Supper for about 2 months.

PS, if interested in how much weight-send me a PM and i'll answer ya-if I know ya.

Carl many do not care for the taste of Vita waters nor any of the flavored water drinks which are a bit silly. I use revive mostly due to heat stress and the vitamins help me out, for flavor yes they are really bland, but an ice cold one after a stinking long day in the saddle when your butt is about ready to fall off and you can barely move your legs.............lets just say 2 of those babies goes down really good.

just had a small dish of Umpqua old south fudge pie ice cream...........oh yeah !! :D

I definately know wherer you come from on that! The seat on my bike aint the most comfortable and I thought of changing it for one that has springs underneath the seat-for more comfort. I guess that's a sign of my "old age." ;-D

it's being smart Carl having the springs or heavy duty support rails and the saddle with gel or a cut-out which am sure you have seen, I have a racing aero saddle, and for the day that I spoke of on Saturday nothing is comfortable in fact my inside of my shorts almost ripped out as the chamois got too soft the stiching actually dissolved...............yikes
