Hello everyone! Thought I would quickly introduce myself. I have always been interested in WWII, all the way from games, to movies, to scale modeling. I figured that these forums would be the best place to learn more about history and also talk to people with like interests. Right now, im am working on creating a WWII short film, done in stop motion animation. It is something I have always wanted to try doing so I decided to just take the plunge and jump in. Anyhoo, just wanted to give a quick hello and an introduction. Cheers!
Welcome Foxhole, if you are looking to learn this is a great place to be. I'm very interested in your stop motion film. Care to share any details?
Of course, Along with a number of different hobby's, I do allot of scale modeling, and also some small scale video production. as I mentioned above. I have always messed around with the small WWII vignettes, and never really big diorama's. I have always wanted to build a large scale town, something where I could really accent allot of detail and precision. Along with that, I had always been interested in WWII movies and the making of them. So I decided to put the 2 interests together and make a movie. The modeled town would be my back lot "set" and 1:18 scale WWII action figures would be my actors. I am taking video production, and I have a pretty nice studio set up complete with a blue screen, so I should be able to do most of the editing and special effects myself. It really shouldn't take to long once I get everything set up. Ill keep y'all updated once some real work gets done. Right now, im still in the building process. Thanks for the interest guys!
Welcome, Foxhole! You will enjoy your stay here and I am very much looking forward to seeing your film when it is completed!
