Carl, Did you know that Ritterkreuztrager Carl-August Landfermann Leitender Ingenieur on U-181 is still alive? according to Das Ritterkreuz. If you are interested i will check that for you. Anything in the post yet ? Paul
Hi Mate--that is excellent news--please check for me. Sorry to say that I have not seen anything yet--I asked the postman to try to keep hie eye out looking for a package from England for me. Now--sometime last week--something was signed for at the flat office which is mine but--the office people seems to have misplaced it. I don't know who this is from but--I keep checking back there when I can in case they do find my mail. Alos--thanks to some auto repairs--I am yet again--delayed in sending you that Civilian Award I wanted to get out to you. This time the delay is because of lack of funds
Hi Paul, That's good news, I too would be interested in hearing if Carl-August Landfermann is still alive. Also does anyone know if Heinz Rothardt 2./PzAufklAbt 11 is still alive or is he ill as I just got loads of photo copied stuff from him, and no letter or autograph. Also is Eduard Lindinger still alive as I got an unsigned photo from him and a small two line note which I can't read. Any Help would be great. Cheers Phil
Carl, That sounds like it may be what i sent you as i posted it about 3 weeks ago !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Phil, Heinz Rothardt is still alive, what you got is probably all he sends out now.As far as i know Lindinger is stiil alive as well, Paul
